This is where you will find all the information you will need about our Gundog Training, including reports from our training sessions, venues, trainers etc.
Training Days
We hold training on the first Sunday each month throughout the year.
We are very lucky and have a number of landowner supporters who allow us to use their ground. This enables us to train on 12 different terrain and cover types.
Training starts at 0930 until 1130 and to get the most from the morning we ask all to arrive prompt. Before 0900 is not promt, it's too early and the direction signs will not be out.
There will usually be a number of committee members attending on the day. Louie Chairman, "Lukey" - Secretary, Ken - Treasurer collecting subs (£5 members £10 non members), Trainers - Stewart, Ron, Rodger and Peter.
Integral to the training experience is the debrief and warmdown at the Public House listed in the calendar. Much training discussion takes place here and is well worth planning as part of your morning.
In order to leave as we find please bring poo bags so that we can clean up after our dogs.
Remember we have permission to use the training ground only on the times and dates published, no other times.
